HPLC Columns (2 - 4 mm Internal Diameter)

SEPSERV Separation Service Berlin offers a wide range of HPLC columns.

For 4, 3, and 2 mm diameter SEPSERV uses the HYPERCHROME column system, which is widespread especially in Germany. On request packings will be delivered also in columns of all the other common systems.

For 1 mm-Microbore Columns the Mini-HYPERCHROME system with an integrated precolumn was developed by SEPSERV.

If you use a 5 mm Precolumn Cartridge(14), part (5) must be changed against the Capillary End Fitting (13) and the Distance Piece (12).

If you use 20 mm Precolumn Cartidges, a lengthening hull is placed between the Column Tube (1) and the Cartridge Holder (8).

In order to protect the separation columns against pollution Precolumn Cartridges and Guard Columns are recommended.

For the realization of analyses with modern HPLC equipments in many cases the use of Narrowbore and Microbore Columns is of advantage.

Narrowbore and Microbore Columns

Using a modern HPLC equipment there is no need for conventional 4 mm columns in analytical scale. Already the transition from a 4 mm column to a 3 mm column can save up to 300.00 per month for solvents ! As shown in the example below, you need not even a "special" equipment.

Retention times, selectivities, plate numbers, prepressures and also the life time of small diameter columns do not alter in comparison to the corresponding 4 mm columns !

Small diameter columns from SEPSERV have the same quality as 4 mm columns.

With a modern analytical pump head and an analytical flow cell working with 3 mm separation columns is no problem.

For the use of 2 mm (Narrowbore)- and 1 mm (Microbore)-columns usually a microcell is necessary.

Save your money and protect the environment!
